OUR PHILOSOPHY

Choosing the right dentist is an important decision. We respect your right to choose a dentist who will fulfill your dental needs and help you achieve your dental goals. Dr. Scott understands what his patients want in a dentist because he invests time in listening to each patient's concerns and discussing treatment options.

There's more to cosmetic dentistry than meets the eye. Although the objectives are universal-optimum dental health for life, the details involved in accomplishing that are numerous. To do our work well, we must consider everything that affects our mouth's function and appearance, hygiene, and overall health.

We make it our goal to do what it takes to bring your teeth into their healthiest possible condition. We do this with an essential principle in mind, maximum conservation of tooth structure. That means looking for and arresting decay at its earliest observable state, removing only the diseased tooth structure, thus requiring placement of the smallest amount of filling possible.

We have the greatest "Toy Box" in town! Dr. Scott always says you can never be too old for the Toy Box! We treat kids of all ages. We love watching our children grow through the years!

For Your Safety

We use a state-of-the-art sterilization system to protect your health. We have a high quality air purification system that runs throughout our office.

Meet Dr. Scott

W. SCOTT NICKELS, DDS

Dr. Scott graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where he finished at the top of his class with high honors. Dr. Scott was one of three US dental students selected to participate in a General Practice Residency at Emory University in Atlanta.

He is proud to be a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Nashville Dental Study Club. He is most dedicated to treating all our patients with quality modern dentistry.
